Youth Awareness of the Negative Consequences of Drug Addiction and Drug-Related Crimes Has Been Raised

With the aim of preventing drug addiction among young people, raising awareness of the negative consequences of drug-related crimes, and strengthening legal awareness, visits to penal institutions were organized for students of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.

During the visits, the students were given detailed information about the lives and daily routines of inmates serving sentences for drug-related crimes, the consequences of the offenses they committed, and the negative impact that crime has on a person's destiny.

The young people also reflected on the risks associated with drug addiction and crime, the grave consequences of unlawful actions, and the need to prevent such situations.
These visits helped to increase students' legal literacy, to foster in them an uncompromising attitude toward drug addiction and crime, and to help them understand the real consequences of offenses.
