SamISI Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service

Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service makes efforts to prevent climate change and global warming and reduce their negative consequences. As part of the policy aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the environment, the institute implements measures to reduce the use of vehicles with internal combustion engines:

- Charging equipment for electric vehicles has been installed;

- It is possible to use electric scooters;

- Bicycle parking has been organized;

- Lighting and water heating systems operate on the basis of solar energy equipment. The heating system is equipped with highly efficient condensing boilers.

As a result of the implemented work, carbon dioxide emissions are decreasing from year to year. In 2019, total carbon dioxide emissions amounted to 680 tons, and by 2023 this figure dropped to 446 tons.
